A Poem by Nichole, about her experience of the training.
It All started one wintry October weekend
A group of strangers met and were soon to become friends
Bore Place was filled with mats, notebooks and pens
Weekends and months began to unfold
we each joined with a chain made of pure gold
as the teachings began to take a firm hold
We rose with the dawn for Sadhana all dressed in white
with sleepy eyes turned to sparkling delight
some of the kriyas were tough - but we held on tight!
Keep up and be kept up, for we kept up indeed
from unconscious patterns and habits we were free,
We found that in you we had all the support we would need
We lived life on the Veg and enjoyed every plate
our auras got stronger with every mouthful we ate
cauliflower fuelled into practice, asana and meditate
Teaching and feedback and exam prep, oh my!
Yet somehow it all just seemed to whizz by
We came here as caterpillars and learned how to fly
We shall go on to be forklifts and lighthouses, you have taught us so well
Letting our presence be our purity, no need for hard sell
We shall obey, serve, love and excel
You have led us and blessed us each step of the way
What you have given us is beyond what words can say
Your teaching and love within our hearts shall forever stay
